Shia LaBeouf is a Superior Skateboarder

Labels:

Shia LaBeouf chills out on his day off in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The 22-year-old Transformers star took a ride around his neighborhood on his skateboard while simultaneously gulping down a can of diet green tea.

Sporting a Harley Davidson retro “Superior” t-shirt, Shia looked a little scruffy with his facial hair. He was still wearing a bandage around a few fingers and part of his left hand after having extensive surgery on it over the summer. This is all following his late-night car crash.

Shia LaBeouf is speaking out publicly about his arrest and car crash in July that put him in the hospital. While promoting his next action thriller, Eagle Eye (out September 26), he talked to Entertainment Tonight and Access Hollywood about the crash.

“The car hit me at 70mph,” Shia said. “It was eye-opening and terrifying. It was one of the biggest things that’s happened to me, for sure, in my life. I’m grateful to be here.”

He added, “[But] I’m working right now. We propped [my hand] together so I could get through Transformers and then I’ll go have another surgery and be back to 100 percent.”

Shia LaBeouf gets shirtless again on the set of next summer’s possible blockbuster Transformers 2 in Los Angeles on Friday.

This time, however, Shia sports some blood and battle scars all over his body. The 22-year-old appeared to be wearing a smaller splint for his left hand instead of the larger protective bandage seen earlier.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is due out next year on June 26th.

Shia LaBeouf’s Pinky To Be Amputated

Labels:

Shia LaBeouf may have to amputate one of his injured fingers, reports Star.

Doctors have told the 22-year-old Transformers star that he is likely to lose the pinky on his left hand.

“Shia called producers yesterday and told them,” the source on the set of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen in Alamogordo, N.M. says. “It’s really thrown the movie into turmoil.”

Shia crushed his left hand when his truck rolled over twice in a July 27 accident in West Hollywood. He was arrested for suspicion of a DUI misdemeanor although do not believe the accident was his fault.

Perhaps Shia should invest in some of that magical pixie dust that grows back fingers. It’d be a good investment, don’tcha think?

Shia LaBeouf Arrested For DUI

Labels:

Shia LaBeouf has been arrested for suspicion of a DUI misdemeanor.

TMZ reports the 22-year-old Transformers actor was arrested around 3 a.m. Sunday morning in Hollywood for allegedly driving drunk. Shia made a left turn in front of another car causing the two cars to collide.

Labeouf is currently undergoing surgery for a badly injured left hand.

While being interviewed on The Late Show with David Letterman in May, Shia joked, “Drinking and driving is one thing, but drinking and shopping … it’s just as bad.” What kind of jokes will Shia tell about drinking now?

Also back in November, a “pretty wasted” (those were his own words) Shia was arrested after refusing to leave a Walgreens in Chicago around four in the morning.

Shia LaBeouf is a Motorcycle Man

Labels:

Shia LaBeouf takes his cafe-racer style ‘Triumph Thruxton 900′ motorcycle for a spin around Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon.

Earlier this month, Alex Kurtzman and Bob Orci, the writers of Eagle Eye and Transformers talked to ComingSoon.net about the 22-year-old actor’s role in Eagle Eye. Here’s one question answered by Kurtzman:

This is your second movie writing for Shia, so were you able to tailor the dialogue more to what he could do as a character or did you want him to do something different than he has in other movies? Yeah, certainly we had a great experience with him on Transformers and his voice is very very specific. It actually helped us quite a bit in conceiving his character in Eagle Eye and that in turn helped us in the conceiving of his character in Transformers 2 so we’re now on Movie #3 with Shia, so I think more than any other actor out there, we have his voice in our heads…. The other thing that’s exciting about it, too, is that this is really Shia’s first adult role. Transformers and Disturbia were both playing seventeen to let’s say nineteen years old, and this is first truly adult role. With that comes a whole new set of requirements, and I think people are going to be really happily, I wouldn’t say surprised, but it’s funny, especially with D.J. He created a breakthrough role for Shia when he did Disturbia but I think this is the next evolution of that. It just shows how much range Shia has.
