The Speed star is currently working on The Private Lives of Pippa Lee. It is a drama film written and directed by Rebecca Miller based on her own forthcoming novel. It stars Robin Wright Penn as the title character and Keanu plays Chris, Pippa’s lover.

Keanu, 43, plays alien messenger Klaatu. Connelly, 37, plays Helen Benson, a microbiologist inducted by the government into investigating Klaatu. The movie opens in theaters nationwide on December 12th.
