Jennifer Garner and husband Ben Affleck welcomed their second daughter in Los Angeles on Tuesday (January 6).

“Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck gave birth to a baby girl,” the actress’s rep confirms to JustJared.com.

The baby’s name and other details have not been released yet.

Jen and Ben (both 36) also have a 3-year-old daughter Violet.

After a few false alarms, their new daughter has finally arrived! Congrats to the happy family!!!

Always adorable Violet Affleck and parents Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck spend a busy weekend-before-Christmas together in Santa Monica/Brentwood Calif.

On Saturday, Violet and Ben stepped out sans Jen for some father-daughter bonding time in Brentwood, perhaps to do a little holiday shopping for 36-year-old mom-to-be Jen.

On Sunday, Jen, sipping on an iced tea from City Bakery, joined Ben and Violet as they took a stroll through Santa Monica.

The four-minute documentary highlights humanitarian issues in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

“We made this film in order to focus attention on the humanitarian crisis in the DRC at a time when too much of the world is indifferent or looking the other way,” said Ben. “The suffering and loss we’ve all seen first-hand is staggering - it is beyond belief.”

He also poked fun at Angelina Jolie, UNHCR’s most visible spokesperson: “UNHCR needs to find a Goodwill Ambassador who can get some sort of press attention.”
