Blake Lively Digs Nifty Neckties
Blake Lively sports her plaid necktie on the set of the hit drama Gossip Girl in New York City on Friday.
The 20-year-old actress has been trying to put to rest a possible feud with Traveling Pants co-star America Ferrera. Apparently America rolled her eyes during an interview when Blake began talking about the upcoming season of her CW drama, Gossip Girl. Blake responded, “I haven’t even heard about it. I don’t ever pay attention to that stuff. She’s one of my best friends in the whole wide world and honestly, when you’re sitting in a room for three hours doing satellite interviews… We were staring at a Post-It (note) with a smiley face, so I think I probably rolled my eyes a hundred times. I’m like, ‘Oh gosh, this thing is still going on?”
DO YOU THINK America really meant to roll her eyes at Blake’s show, Gossip Girl? Check out the clip here!

Paris Hilton Has Found A New BFF
Paris Hilton just updated her blog to give us an update on what she’s been up to all summer long. Here’s a snippet of her post:
“Hope you’re all having a wonderful summer. This is actually the first summer where I didn’t just lounge around in St. Tropez or a private beach somewhere–I didn’t take a vacation this summer because it’s been non- stop work.
“I’ve been shooting the show, editing it, traveling to Europe to promote my handbag line and fragrance, designing my fall collection for my shoes and clothing line, and working in my studio on a new album. So professionally its been a very successful and productive summer. My favorite part of the summer has been the time I’ve gotten to spend on tour with my love Benj We always have the best time together and he’s played some shows in some pretty rad places: Orlando for example, so we got to go to Disney World, which is always a blast! He’s such an amazing boyfriend and so talented too…I love watching him perform on stage, so hot! Loves it!
“Life couldn’t be better; I have a great boyfriend and a new best friend. I’m so excited to announce that I’ve wrapped taping of Paris Hilton’s My New BFF. I’ve been LOVING every moment in the editing room, and am sitting there literally in tears, every day, laughing so hard at all the priceless moments from the footage. Also I’m thinking that a lot of the crazier scenes might just end up on the DVD….there is so much footage and even though some will be edited out as all shows must do, I want you to be able to see it and laugh as much as I have been! ;)”

Paris Hilton’s My New BFF premieres @ 10PPM ET/PT on Tuesday, September 30th on MTV.

Ed Westwick is Coca-Cola Cool
Gossip Girl stud Ed Westwick hypes up the Coca-Cola new aluminum bottle launch at New York City’s Soho Grand Hotel on Thursday.
In this week’s Page Six Magazine, the 21-year-old British actor opened up about the “bootlicking” he’s received as being the villainous but charming Chuck Bass on Gossip Girl – and rumors he’s gay.
On his relationship with co-star and roommate Chace Crawford: “People think Chace is gay, and thought I was gay, that we were humping. It’s not true, but hilarious. People project their fantasies onto people. I’ve never been someone who makes it my objective to go out and pick up chicks. But I’ve met some fantastic ladies here. You know those amazing conversations where you find yourself in a café talking until 2 a.m. and never see them again.”
On refusing to let all the fan adulation go to his head: “There are perks to this job. We [the Gossip Girl cast] were all thrown into this situation with a lot of attention on us, and you get a lot of free clothes and s–t but that’s no reason not to stay grounded. What am I really doing, baby? Saving the world? Nah, I’m on television.”
On his portrayal as Chuck Bass being just as notable as his own bad behavior and sense of style: “Chuck is an iconic character and the clothes are iconic. I think I rock the look well. My style has always been good. Top notch, baby. I like the glamorous indie rock look, like the Libertines. But you know, without the heroin needle sticking out of my arm.”
On not being shy about his late night partying, or his frequent visits to the clubs with his band Filthy Youth: “If I want to go out and drink and throw a glass in the street, I’ll do it. As long as the reason is that I want to have fun and not that I want to create some sort of tension around me. Then I’d be a d–k. But I’m not.”
On planning to enjoy the city and the last warm days of the season: “I love going out in the summer. The girls wear their nice dresses. Did that sound sleazy? It really did, didn’t it? Put it like this: Everyone comes out looking gorgeous in summer. We are a more beautiful species in the summer. No doubt Chuck Bass would say ‘cheers’ to that, baby.”

Applegate says she is 100% cancer free
Actress Christina Applegate performs during a program honoring 2006 Mark Twain Prize recipient Neil Simon at the Kennedy Center in Washington Oct. 15, 2006
Aug. 19 -- Christina Applegate says she has a clean bill of health after undergoing treatment for breast cancer. "I'm clear," Applegate tells ABC News' "Good Morning America" in an interview airing Tuesday. "Absolutely 100 percent clear and clean. It did not spread. They got everything out, so I'm definitely not going to die from breast cancer."
Applegate's interview with "GMA" was taped Monday.
The actress' publicist, Ame Van Iden, announced earlier this month that Applegate was being treated for the disease after it was detected through a doctor-ordered MRI.
"I was so mad," she says in the "GMA" interview when she first heard the news. "I was just shaking and - and then also immediately, I had to go into ... `take-care-of-business-mode,' which was ... I asked them, `What do I do now? What - what is it that I do? I get a doctor, I get a surgeon, I get an oncologist? What do I do?'"
Applegate, 36, says she "immediately made those appointments and immediately called around for ... someone to start teaching me how to live macrobiotically." She was referring to following a healthy diet of fish, grains, beans and vegetables, and avoiding processed foods.
The actress, whose mother battled breast cancer, says she began getting mammograms at the age of 30.
Applegate is scheduled to appear on a one-hour TV special, "Stand Up to Cancer," to be aired on ABC, CBS and NBC on Sept. 5 to raise funds for cancer research.
She has been nominated for an Emmy and a Golden Globe for the ABC show "Samantha Who?", in which she plays a woman who wakes from a coma with no memory of who she is.

Madonna, Guy Ritchie celebrate her 50th birthday
Aug. 19 -- Madonna's husband Guy Ritchie paid tribute to her at her 50th birthday celebrations on Saturday. The director threw a lavish 100,000 party for 90 guests to celebrate his wife reaching the landmark age at the weekend and, in an emotional speech, spoke of his love and pride for the singer.
Guy - who has been dogged by rumours his marriage to the pop superstar is on the rocks - told partygoers at the Volstead nightclub in London: "She looks better now than she has ever done. I'm so proud. I love her so much." Despite organising the party, Guy spent most of the day working as he hosted a private industry screening of his new movie 'RocknRolla'.
An insider commented: "It was as if he was trying to make a point by not being at her beck and call." The 'Give It 2 Me' singer was moved to tears when her 11-year-old daughter Lourdes performed a surprise rendition of 'Never Alone' from the musical 'Fame' at the venue's grand piano.
Madonna was left disappointed after her closest friends - including Stella McCartney and Gwyneth Paltrow - failed to attend the party. In a 40-minute speech, she thanked Guy, Lourdes, eight-year-old son Rocco, and adopted son David, two, before adding: "I'm really disappointed. There are a lot of people who are not here tonight, but thanks to everyone who did make it."
Guy - who refused to dance with his wife - also poked fun at the absence of Madonna's friends in his speech, noting that many of the guests worked for her. Around 40 partygoers were her dancers, who joined the star and her children to gyrate to her back catalogue on the dance-floor, which had a huge M in the middle.
A friend said: "She loved it when her songs came on. Her dancers were pulling out all the moves, it was like the final rehearsal for her tour."
